How to use
Prepare
The surface must be fully cured (cement: 28 days), sound, clean and dry, with no cracks, oil or grease. Prepare it mechanically (milling or diamond grinding). In pools, remove the tiles and apply direct to the concrete. On areas that are not under water, prime with Primer 541.
Mix
Mix with clean water at the ratio for your grade, rest 10–15 minutes, then mix again. Do not add water later.
Apply
Apply two coats with a metal trowel: F6 as the base, then F4 or F2 as the finish.

FAQ
Is it waterproof?
PoolCem is water-resistant even without a protective sealer and stays vapour-permeable. It does not replace a waterproofing mortar.
Can I use it in a swimming pool?
Yes, it is made for surfaces under constant water. Remove existing tiles and apply it direct to the pool concrete. Do not apply it over elastic waterproof membranes. Contact us for the full pool procedure.
Which grade do I need?
F6 to smooth the surface or for a hard, rougher finish. F4 for a lightly textured finish. F2 for a smooth, polished-cement look.
Indoors or outdoors?
Both.
Does it need a sealer?
Not for water resistance. To protect the finish, seal walls and light-traffic areas with Estilpur 1C, and heavy-traffic floors with PU20.
