Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy sits alongside our Terms of Sale. It does not affect your statutory rights.

1. Changed your mind (consumers only)

• You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you want to cancel, and a further 14 days to send the goods back.
• Email liquidmetalfx@gmail.com with your order number before sending anything.
• Goods must be unopened, sealed and unused, in their original packaging.
• You pay the return postage.
• We refund the item price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods (or proof of return). We use your original payment method.

2. What we cannot accept back (unless faulty)

Any product can be returned, as long as it is unused. For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns of:

• used, opened or unsealed products: metal powders, binders, patinas, sealers, microcement and other chemicals, once the seal is broken;
• mixed products: anything that has been mixed, tinted, diluted or combined with other products;
• custom orders: custom-mixed colours, bespoke kits or quantities made to order;
• kits with any used part: unused, sealed parts of a kit can be returned;
• products that are past their shelf life because of storage after delivery.

3. Hazardous products

Some of our products are hazardous chemicals. Do not return them by ordinary post.

• Contact us first. We will send return instructions or arrange collection with a courier licensed to carry them.
• Products must be in their original, sealed, labelled containers.
• You pay for the return, using the method we give you.

4. Faulty, damaged or wrong items

• Tell us within 7 days of delivery for damage in transit, with photos of the item and packaging.
• Consumers have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: a full refund within 30 days for faulty goods, then repair or replacement (and then a refund) for up to 6 months, and further rights after that.
• We pay return costs for faulty or wrong items.
• A product is not faulty only because the finish differs from a photo, or because it was applied outside our instructions or the Safety Data Sheet.

5. Trade customers

• No automatic right to cancel or return.
• Unused, sealed, resaleable stock may be returned within 14 days by prior agreement. You pay the return postage.
• Faulty goods: report within 7 days. We will replace or refund at our choice. Our liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Sale.
